“Starting in 2015 Wilson Acres first opened its doors as a small farm-run operation selling used farm equipment and implements. We started it slow, one piece of farm equipment at a time. This beginning allowed Wilson Acres to develop into the business it is today.
Having laid the framework of what an honest and fair business in the trade industries could look like, expansion became a real possibility. In the year 2020, we were given an opportunity for the business to expand into the market of lawn mower maintenance and repair. This meant we could work on more. Small engines became our specialty and we served the Northern Kentucky area with pride.
Originally the basis was to provide yearly service to customers on their mower on-site at a reasonable rate but Wilson Acres started coming into its own by offering customers a positive experience when it came to service on their mower. Service work and repairs grew to be our main pillar of business with more clients than we could handle on our own and we were forced to expand. Wilson Acres became more successful than we ever imagined, something was still missing.
In the year 2023, it was decided to sell the mower side of Wilson Acres and go back to the basics of what Wilson Acres was originally intended to be, using commercial and farm equipment, with a bigger concentration on sales. A year prior, WA Equipment was formed for this purpose. With that, we jumped in head first and here we are- working to continue pushing an ever-evolving industry forward through modern takes on age-old values. Honest and fair work.”
